Roof Infrared Surveys & Analysis for Moisture/Leaks
Thermal imaging is a diagnostic tool which uses infrared analysis to assist in the detection of moisture. Our engineers employ thermal imaging cameras to record the individual thermal signatures of your roofing materials. Anomalies in these recordings alert our team to possible moisture problems which need further investigation. This non-invasive testing method can quickly identify areas of probable high moisture. Suspected wet areas are defined, and then physicals surveys are conducted to verify the thermal scans. Results of these surveys are then used to provide recommendations for individual repairs or replacement. Coupling thermal imaging surveys with preventative maintenance proves to be a wise investment compared to the cost of a full roof replacement.
Roof & Specification Design
Preparation of good specifications outlining the application of the chosen roofing system communicates the necessary technical requirements during the construction process. SEG requirements establish a benchmark that can be inspected for compliance and acceptance. Our specification package will include the following components.
- Instructions to the Bidders
- Bid Forms
- Contract Agreement
- General Conditions
- Technical Sections
- Roof Plans
- Detail Drawings
Building Condition Surveys
SEG has a team of experienced professionals that perform building condition surveys to assess the condition of a building. In particular, a building condition survey will examine the structure, fit & finish, safety compliance, utilities, ADA compliance, as well as an overall view of the building.
